Terms of use

These terms cover your use of freedomday.app, including the demo game, calculators, and articles (together, “the Service”). The Service is operated by Digital Publisher SIA, Riga, Latvia. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. Education, not advice
Freedom Day is an educational simulation. Everything on the Service — game outcomes, calculators, articles, examples — is for learning about how money decisions work in general. None of it is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and none of it accounts for your personal situation. Simulated results do not predict real-world results. For decisions about your own money, consult a qualified professional.
2. Age
The Service is made for adults 18 and older and is readable for ages 16+. You must be at least 16 to join the waitlist.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- disrupt or overload the Service, or bypass its security or rate limits;
- scrape the Service to build a competing dataset or product;
- submit someone else’s email address to the waitlist;
- use the Service where prohibited by law.
4. Intellectual property
The Service — its text, design, game systems, and code — belongs to Digital Publisher SIA or its licensors. You may share links and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution. You may not republish whole articles or the game itself without permission. Third-party trademarks mentioned in our editorial content (for example CASHFLOW®) belong to their owners; we are not affiliated with them.
5. The Service is provided “as is”
We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but we provide it without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the Service — including resetting demo progress — at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Publisher SIA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make with your own money. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to €50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Latvia, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you additional rights.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
